Remembering J Emelio de Jesus “Chuy” Govea
On October 14th of this year, our TCC family suffered the loss of another of our own. After a hard fight with cancer, Chuy Govea went on to be with the Lord. The time since his passing hasn’t been easy. We’ve looked back at his friendship, kindness and goodness as a man. He was always thoughtful of others before himself, and the installers who worked with him often remark of his leadership and fairness. Walking a jobsite without Chuy “El Pollo” by our side won’t be the same.
Although it hurts that he is gone, we’re grateful for the time we had with him. Chuy was positive, thankful and committed to finishing the race with honor. His generosity compelled him to spend his last days focused on making sure his family and installers could continue on, while he prepared for the next life. We will miss his smile, his cheerfulness and his dedication to the things that matter.
Our commitment will always be that he is remembered, and that his wife and children will be enveloped in all the love we can give. This is our tribute to Chuy, an amazing man who lived an amazing life.
