Remembering Gary Kramer

On July 23rd of this year, our TCC family received the most heartbreaking news we could imagine. Gary Kramer, our dear friend, and loyal employee of almost 20 years, had passed away. Even as I write this, I’m saddened to think that we won’t have the cheerfulness and joy he brought to us every day. We’ve spent the days and weeks since his passing reflecting on all the years we spent with Gary working, hunting, laughing, talking about the Astros and music…and the Houston Rodeo. He was full of warmth, humility, and kindness. Everyone agrees: Gary was just so easy to be around. As a dedicated father and husband, he would do anything for his wife and daughter. Gary was always the first to call and check in on a friend or colleague if he heard they were going through a tough time or struggling with something. That’s why everyone who knew him loved him. Attendance at the visitation and funeral set a record and was past capacity. Gary made it to Heaven before the rest of us, but we’ll never forget him. This is our tribute to a wonderful man who lived a wonderful life.
