Be responsible for assisting the CFO in controlling & executing all matters relating to the accounting & financial functions of the company.
Prepare, examine, & analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, & conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping & accounting systems.
Analyze & review changes in contract value & cost estimates to ensure proper revenue recognition according to the Percentage of Completion method. Review & analyze the WIP/JIP reports to record over & under billings according to the Percentage of Completion method.
Be responsible for the preparation of weekly certified payroll in accordance with FLSA & Davis Bacon Act.
Assist with ad-hoc accounting projects & general support tasks in the accounting & finance areas.
Require: Master’s degree in Accounting & 3 years work experience as an Accountant in Construction Accounting (Percentage of Completion Method).
