JOHN ORTEGA, INTERIM CFO
Giancarlo “John” Ortega is currently serving as the Interim Chief Financial Officer for TCC Multi-Family Interiors, Inc. In addition, to practicing law he is also the Principal of Ortega Advisors, LLC where over the past 2 years he has served as CFO & COO for various middle market companies. He holds an LL.M. in Banking and Financial Law from Boston University School of Law, J.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Law, and a BBA in Finance from Baylor University. In addition, he has years of training in financial modeling and accounting through organizations like JP Morgan, as well as over 62 hours accounting work through the National Association of State Board of Accountancy.
Prior to his role as an attorney and consultant, Mr. Ortega was the founder of Houston Business Bank where he served as a Director, and President & Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Ortega has over 20 years of banking and financial experience including stents at JP Morgan Chase and Wells Fargo Bank. Mr. Ortega was recognized as one of Houston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award in 2011 for his work in starting and managing Houston Business Bank. In 2012, he received the Pillar of Fairness Award for the North Side Independent School District in San Antonio, Texas for his commitment both to the banking profession and to mentoring young students. He has also been involved in the Class 26 Leadership Houston and Big Brothers/Big Sisters Program. Mr. Ortega resides in Houston Texas with his wife and three children.
AYSEL AMIN, HR DIRECTOR
Aysel Babayeva is the HR Director at TCC and is tasked with building and developing our most valuable asset, our personnel. With her educational background in Law and Business Administration, Aysel brings a unique perspective in the field of Human Resource Management. Aysel brings over six years of HR experience in various industries including construction, telecommunications and oil/gas. Aysel studied law in the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, and also has Bachelor’s & Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) from McNeese State University. She is multi-lingual, fluent in Russian, French, Turkish and Azeri. Aysel is married, has a son, and enjoys attending ballet, travelling and reading.
